About Me
Creating a non-judgmental space where you can express yourself openly and work towards personal growth is a priority for me. Through my client-centred approach, I recognize the importance of tapping into your strengths and building upon them. Counselling provides us the opportunity to explore meaning, strengths and new possibilities, and my role is to help facilitate this process.

I work primarily with adult individuals, providing both short- and long-term psychotherapy, as well as EMDR therapy (learn more about EMDR).

I identify as an anti-racist, queer, cisgender (pronouns: he/him) man. I received my Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Social Work from Carleton University. I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from McGill University. I’m a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).

I have been practicing psychotherapy since 2017. I have worked at The Counselling Group, based at Jewish Family Services of Ottawa, providing psychotherapy for adult individuals, brief narrative therapy at the walk-in counselling clinic, and facilitated an LGBTQIA+ refugee and newcomer support group in partnership with Centretown Community Health Centre (CCHC). I also previously completed my Master's degree internship at CCHC.
